City Green is a major mixed use development in the centre of Sunderland in a very sustainable location adjacent to the main transport hub.
The scheme incorporated 42 sheltered housing units,58 private residential appartments for rent and a 50,000sq ft landmark office building.
The three buildings lie adjacent to an existing green space and the proposals included a new linear park to enhance the setting and significantly improve the immediate environment.
The residential elements of the development were subsequently sold on to a social housing provider and senior citizens sheltered housing operator.
The total value of the scheme was in the order of £25m .
